Position: Truck Driver (General) Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $74,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Shepparton VIC 3630 Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join their team located in Shepparton. As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of dairy products from their manufacturing site to distribution outlets across Victoria. The driver will ensure compliance with road and safety regulations, manage delivery schedules, and maintain high standards of hygiene and professionalism. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate heavy rigid and refrigerated trucks to transport dairy goods. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries in line with delivery schedules. Load and unload products using appropriate equipment or manual handling where required. Conduct pre-departure and end-of-day vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthiness. Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer paperwork. Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR, and road transport regulations. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with the logistics team and warehouse staff regarding delays or issues. Requirements: Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) or above driver’s licence. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a heavy vehicle/truck driver. Proven experience transporting food or other temperature-sensitive goods. Knowledge of safe food handling and transport Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road. Excellent driving record and familiarity with Victorian road networks.
