About the role Ideal for mechanics or 3rd / 4th year apprentices looking to upskill into auto electricians. Light mechanical work on trailers and caravans. Modern, clean workshop with a supportive team in place and a hands on management team. Experienced auto electricians welcome to apply. Duties Carry out repairs according to manufacturing requirements. Replace broken or defective parts. Test and replace electrical components. Repair and replace electrical wiring. Diagnose electrical and mechanical components for faults. Use special test equipment. Remove and replace electronic components. Maintain and repair braking systems. Our workshop’s daily processes use up-to-date technology to provide the highest level of communication between the workshop and the front of the house. Skills and experience Hold a current Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician Trade Qualification. Have a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn. Have a down-to-earth personality. Hold a current automatic/manual driver’s license. Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Benefits Attractive Salary up to $40.50/hr for mechanics and $48/hr for auto electricians Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm OT Rostered Saturdays A friendly team-based working environment with experienced management.
