Location: Geelong Contract Type: 12-month contract with potential for extension Pay Rate: $60.26 per hour Super About the Role A federal government client is seeking an experienced APS6 Broadcast Animation Designer to join their Digital Media team in Geelong. Key Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end animation projects for digital platforms including social media, websites, and digital signage. Provide in-house animation services, including scripting, editing, and production. Develop branded animation suites and maintain design consistency across all video segments. Integrate complex animation elements into piece-to-camera video content. Collaborate with business units to support planning and story development. Create still graphics and supporting visual assets for social media use and Vedio production Essential Criteria Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 2D/3D animation software (e.g., Blender). Demonstrated experience managing the full animation pipeline from concept to delivery. Ability to use animation as a tool for data visualisation and storytelling. Experience integrating animations within video content and working collaboratively on production teams. Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills. Capability to manage and maintain animation assets and libraries. Desirable Criteria Knowledge of Australian Government branding and accessibility standards. Ability to distil complex ideas into simple, visually compelling animations. Adaptable to agile, fast-paced environments and able to manage changing priorities. Experience working with video editors, policy teams, and communications specialists. A passion for best practice animation and continuous improvement.
