Key Responsibilities Grow Meat sales in nominated regions/branches, where sales are below company average through education and on the job training of Sales Representatives to meet company targets. Introduce/increase meat sales into nominated major/key accounts through establishing contacts and working with key account managers and sales reps. Develop and expand the region’s fresh meat opportunities and sales. Develop meat sales in allocated regions through Branch personnel education, sales training, and customer calls with the Sales Team. Monitor and react to branch meat stock levels and sales results in allocated regions where required. Key Competencies Skills and Qualifications Excellent understanding of Meat (Beef, Lamb, Pork, and Chicken), and the Meat industry. Ability to coach, develop and motivate a sales team. Strong Sales background and understanding of Sales processes. High impact communication. Ability to adapt, encourage and promote change. Ability to set budgets and determine objectives for achieving such targets if required. Leverage relationships with internal and external partners to achieve common goals. Proficient in learning a product range quickly. Superior selling and negotiating ability. Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with customers. Good organisational and time management skills. Self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Full drivers licence.
