Position: Software Engineer Salary Package:100K-120K AUD Position Overview: The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to meet the technical and operational requirements of Diversity Atlas Australia Pty Ltd. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software architectures and applications that align with best practices and the company’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion through technology. Key Responsibilities: ✔Design and implement robust and scalable software architectures to address complex technical challenges while aligning with specified project requirements. ✔Write, test, and debug high-quality code to ensure functionality, efficiency, and adherence to quality-accredited standards. ✔Perform comprehensive code reviews and optimise algorithms to enhance software quality, maintainability, and compliance with industry best practices. ✔Implement and manage effective software development processes, methodologies, and tools to streamline workflow and ensure project delivery timelines are met. ✔Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure project stability and integrity. ✔Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions seamlessly within broader system infrastructures and organisational workflows. ✔Document software designs, workflows, and user manuals to support knowledge transfer, stakeholder communication, and end-user understanding. Qualifications & Experience: ✔Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. ✔Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions. ✔Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. ✔Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. ✔Understanding of software security principles and best practices. ✔Demonstrated ability to assess technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. ✔Experience in code review processes and in optimising algorithms for performance and maintainability.
