Nextt is looking for dedicated female Disability Support Workers to support two wonderful clients in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Highfields. This is your opportunity to step into a meaningful role with a supportive team, set routines, and genuine connection. About the Clients Client 1 (42) Lives with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Anxiety. She enjoys music, bubble baths, Milo, and spending time with her mum. Her focus is on maintaining her independence at home and staying connected to family and community. Client 2 (25) Lives with Myotonia and an Intellectual Disability. She loves Disney movies, dogs, board games, and community outings. Her goals are to strengthen her life skills and engage more independently with the world around her. The Role You’ll play a key part in their day-to-day support, including: Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing, toileting) Manual handling (using hoists and slings) Medication administration Domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep) Support with daily routines Community access and social engagement Shifts & Availability Start as a Casual with potential to move into Permanent Part-Time Minimum availability of 3–4 days per week Shifts span Monday to Sunday, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and active overnights Casual Pay Rates (SCHADS Award – E3.1, pre-tax) Base: $33.96/hr Afternoon: $37.36/hr Active Night: $38.04/hr Saturday: $47.55/hr Sunday: $61.13/hr Public Holiday: $74.72/hr Sleepover: $57.99/night What We’re Looking For Female support workers who are calm, intuitive, and dependable Confident with personal care and manual handling Strong communicators who build trust through routine Passionate about helping people achieve their goals You Must Have: First Aid & CPR (current) NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card – Employee) QLD Blue Card (Employee) Valid driver’s licence and fully insured vehicle Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety and You online module Why Choose Nextt?
