Property Network of Australia is seeking a Facilities Manager to work for a leading retail property group, overseeing the day-to-day operations and compliance of a busy shopping centre. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the highest presentation standards, safety compliance, and efficient management of contractors, maintenance, and service delivery. Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational performance and supporting budget, CAPEX, and risk planning across the site. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manage daily contractor performance, ensure scopes of work are met, and oversee competitive quoting. Conduct routine site inspections and maintain exceptional standards in presentation and maintenance. Coordinate compliance processes including WHS, fire safety, insurance, and contractor documentation. Support leasing obligations and tenancy coordination, including fitout supervision. Prepare monthly operations reports, maintain financial records, and support OPEX/CAPEX forecasting. Lead minor maintenance and cleaning works where necessary. Oversee environmental initiatives to reduce consumption and improve sustainability. Build positive working relationships with tenants, trades, contractors, and the broader centre team. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in facilities or centre management, ideally within the retail property sector. Sound knowledge of plant, equipment, building systems, and preventative maintenance. Strong contractor supervision, WHS compliance, and risk management skills. Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and reporting. Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
