Full time position Sunshine West location Immediate start Our client is on the search for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to join their team in Sunshine West, Victoria. This is a full-time position, responsible for the safe delivery and installation of highly sensitive technical equipment to their customers across the local region. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring operations in Victoria run smoothly and efficiently. The Role Prioritise the safety of employees, customers and general public. Ensure compliance with relevant national and state -based standards, including fatigue management, Chani of Responsibility (CoR) and safety. Drive continuous process improvement and cost reduction by identifying and implementing operational efficiencies. Collaborate with various stakeholders including our project team, accounts, outsourcing partners and customer representatives to build and maintain relationships and continually improve service standards. Provide leadership to a small local team that include a warehouse manager, drivers and offsiders. Be proactive with staff training and development and manage the performance of the team. Recruit operations team members as required, and /or engage with labour hire agencies to fill long term and short-term staffing needs. Run the daily operations of the Victorian depot including scheduling and job allocation. Toolbox talks, incident reporting and investigation. Day to day warehousing activities. Routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep the fleet, property and equipment in good condition. Operate heavy vehicle to deliver and install a wide variety of sensitive technical equipment to cover crew shortfalls. The ideal candidate Commitment to safe work practises and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety. Valid Heavy Vehicle license. Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar transport supervision or leadership role. Computer proficiency and operations systems experience. Experience using scanners, tablets and specialised manual handling equipment. Effective communicator at all levels. Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability. Forklift license and white card desirable. The Offer On offer is a Full-Time contract. $90K plus Super. Shift hours will require you to work 8 to 10 hours starting between 5am - 7:30am Monday to Friday. Full on the job training is provided.
