We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at Baralaba Mine located 150km west of Rockhampton, near Moura. Key Role Tasks You will be responsible for the ongoing Auto Electrical maintenance of our fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment Working as part of a team to ensure minimal downtime of production equipment Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings Participate in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Work Method Statement Reviews Complete all maintenance administration requirements in a timely and legible manner Role Requirements Trade Qualifications (Australian Recognised) 5 years post trade experience (preferable) Current ARC Air Conditioning licence (highly desirable) Working at Heights and/or Confined Space Certification (highly regarded) Current Drivers Licence Current Standard 11 Ability to pass Coal Board Medical and Pre-employment Medical (including a Drug & Alcohol screen) Experience with Komatsu Excavators, Dozers and Electric Dump Trucks highly regarded Experience and exposure to large mobile heavy earthmoving equipment Strong electrical diagnostic skills Ability to work in a team environment as well as with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirements Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry will be highly regarded Our People: We are looking for candidates who place the highest value on the safety of themselves and their colleagues.
