Ixom manufacture and import many of the products that are essential for industries such as dairy, agriculture, viticulture, mining and construction, electricity, steel, food and beverage, pulp and paper and water treatment. About the role Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, this role is a senior role in the Ixom Group Legal Team. The role is based in Melbourne and involves legal work in Australia as well as cross border work. You will be responsible for autonomously managing a range of legal matters across the portfolio of our client’s divisions including commercial contract drafting, negotiation and advices; crisis type events including regulatory breaches and force majeure breach risks; and day to day business as usual work. The role will involve regular interactions with the Executive management team and all business units and functional units across all levels of the organisation. About you If you are a self-motivated Senior Associate level corporate/commercial lawyer with strong experience gained from a well renowned law firm or in-house, have an ability to autonomously manage a range of legal matters, have strong stakeholder management skills and a high degree of commercial acumen, you would be an ideal candidate for this opportunity.
