We have a proven track record of successfully completing a high volume of project packages for our Blue Chip mining client base. From design through to completion and handover, we are able to supply, maintain and manage all aspects of projects works including, remedial works, capital works and expansion projects. Due to a recent, flagship Electrical project award, we are seeking Lead Engineers (Electrical and/or Mechanical) to join a long-term, large-scale project on a FIFO roster. Based in the Karratha region, on the northwest coast of WA, this project involves significant electrical, instrumentation and control system upgrades, conveyor drive station upgrades and other infrastructure upgrades. This presents an opportunity to be based on this milestone project for its duration, commencing in June 2025 and scheduled for completion in August 2026, with further worked offered thereafter on alternate projects. THE ROLE We are currently seeking Leading Engineers (Electrical and/or Mechanical) to join our existing team on a FIFO roster. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for: Leading the Engineering team with positive culture demonstrating Linkforce values Monitoring the detailing and documenting all phases of projects Planning all materials and ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources Overseeing the preparation of detailed work packs Assisting with project plans, schedules and reporting Identify, investigate, record, monitor and report on actions, resolutions, and costs of identified vendor NCRs Ensuring all variations to scope and or specifications are approved, documented and claims maximised without adversely affecting the client relationship Reviewing completed site quality documentation and compiling close out documentations Ensuring all projects are completed in accordance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements Monitoring and managing Electrical Quality and Statutory Documentation and Systems Conducting regular audits on electrical activities ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Relevant engineering qualification Extensive experience in successfully delivering multidiscipline (CSMPEI or SMPEI) construction projects in mining and/or other industrial construction environments Construction and/or Project Management qualification is highly desirable Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software including Project & Excel Primavera and/or Pronto knowledge would be advantageous A current Australian Drivers Licence IN RETURN You will be joining an existing team who will provide you with the onboarding and support to create a successful Linkforce career.
