Rodwells Wagga Wagga is seeking a motivated Livestock Salesperson to join the team. This role involves working closely with clients, drafting sheep and cattle, and marketing livestock through local saleyards, feedlots, and abattoirs. This is an immediate start opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to contribute to a dynamic livestock business. If interested, we would love to discuss the role further! In addition, you will; Assist with the preparation of yarding, penning, and drafting of livestock at the sales, Work closely with the Livestock team leaders offering support, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proactively develop effective multi-level and multi-activity relationships with key customers across the business Develop and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and key regional industry personnel Develop relationships with the large producers/pastoral companies, and feedlot operations in the area Build long lasting partnerships with customers and deliver appropriate advice and services using your specialist knowledge of both sheep and cattle Manage livestock client requirements Build partnerships with existing and prospective livestock clients About You: If you have experience working with livestock and in a sales environment, and an interest in general farming and animal health, together with an eagerness to learn new skills and enjoy different challenges each day, then we’d like to hear from you. You will have hands on livestock handling & livestock sales experience Preferred if you hold current AuctionsPlus Assessor accreditation (Sheep and/or Cattle) Ability to integrate in a team environment Proven experience in negotiation, sales, and marketing, as well as the ability to communicate at all levels You will have a current driver’s license Ideally an auctioneers’ licence You will be a self-motivated person capable of nurturing and sustaining strong customer and client relationships with the ability to follow through in a fast-paced environment.
