Randstad Recruitment has partnered with a Tier 3 Builder completing projects across the SEQ region seeking to grow their existing workforce of HSEQ Advisors. Specialising primarily in education, warehousing, and infrastructure with values ranging between $30M & $40M, our client delivers key projects supporting the SEQ region, and has a strong pipeline of work projected for the coming years. Duties: In the role of a HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep of health, safety, and environmental compliances to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees and contractors. Liaise and report with members of project management Support Project and Site Management with the implementation of HSE systems and processes Ensure the implementation of WHS & Environment protocols to maintain compliance with current legislation Document and report points of concern and implement appropriate actions to remediate said concerns as they occur Provide industry expert advice on WHS objectives and strategies to project teams Provide training and development guidance to on-site teams Promote and champion a strong safety culture within the workplace to improve HSE outcomes Complete regular on-site inspections, manage risk assessments, and auditing to ensure a safe working environment and reduce potential risks Investigate WHS incidents and implement appropriate actions to ensure non-recurrence Conduct daily pre-start and toolbox talks Certification & Experience: 3 Years HSEQ Experience in Construction Cert IV in WHS (Minimum) First Aid and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain Previous experience with direct involvement of on site safety management Comprehensive understanding of WHS Legislation General Construction Induction “White Card” Full Working Rights within Australia Trades Background (Advantageous) The Offer: Position Salary: $140K Super Strong pipeline of work secured for confidence in job security Opportunity for future career progression into Senior Advisory How to Apply: If this opportunity sounds like you, click “Apply Now” and forward an up-to-date resume and cover letter.
