We are looking for an experienced litigation lawyer with a strong interest in risk management to join our in-house Professional Standards & Risk group. In this role, you will provide advice and expertise on professional obligations and interesting professional risk issues in legal practice. You will investigate and manage professional indemnity claims. An important part of the role is to help our lawyers in all Australian jurisdictions prevent and manage risk and guide best practice. Professional Standards & Risk is a collegiate and dynamic team in which every person plays a pivotal role. You will collaborate closely with management and staff in the practice areas of the business and with our shared services. What will you bring? To be successful, our ideal candidate will bring the following skills and attributes: The ability to quickly establish rapport and communicate with sensitivity and acumen with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, including producing high-quality letters and reports. Sound professional judgement in tailoring solutions and recognising issues that need to be escalated.
