The Opportunity We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts and Commercial Administrator to join our team based at Eight Mile Plains. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing the commercial and contractual requirements of our electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring an electrical background, combined with project management and technical expertise. However, we welcome applicants with relevant experience from other sectors as well. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Business Management Team, your core duties will include but are not limited to: Administering construction contracts from initiation to completion, including reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions. Developing, maintaining, and managing commercial and contractual obligations across multiple projects. Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Drafting and revising supplier subcontracts, managing and preparing tender documentation, and negotiating supplier agreements. Resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner. Participating in project team meetings and contributing to project strategy and reporting. Ensuring proactive project management, including risk identification, mitigation, and communication. Preparing documentation for monthly project reporting and strategic reviews. What You’ll Bring Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial and contract administration (ideally within electrical or construction industries). Solid understanding of construction law, industry regulations, and standards. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent would be highly regarded. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving ability. A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and lead. Why Join Stowe?
