Your new role The Senior Legal Counsel will provide strategic corporate and commercial legal advice to the different business units, with a focus on supporting corporate initiatives, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with public company requirements. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Provide legal guidance on transactions, major corporate projects, and public company reporting. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial agreements. Support the investor relations function, particularly in relation to press releases, investor communications, and other public disclosures. Assist in managing board processes and corporate governance matters across the group. What you'll need to succeed Admitted to practice in Australia (US admission would be highly advantageous) Ideally, a minimum of 7 years' PAE in corporate law with exposure to public company environments. Experience gained at a top-tier law firm. Extensive knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Strong commercial acumen with proven experience advising large corporations or complex organisations. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage external counsel effectively. Ability to build strong relationships and provide legal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
