With a focus on innovation and customer experience there is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the in-house team in Melbourne, reporting through to the GM. The Role This role will suit Lawyers with 5 to 8 years corporate and commercial experience, including across drafting and negotiating contracts, Corporations Act, corporate governance and M&A related matters. Reporting to the Managing Director, as Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial matters, including: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts including customer and supplier contracts. Provide legal support and advice on corporate and commercial matters, balancing risk with business objectives. Advise across the telecommunications business broadly Assist in the development and implementation of company policies. Support risk management initiatives and strategic decision-making.
