The Role: Location: Melton VIC Duration : Full Time, 38 hours per week, Fixed Term traineeship contract As an IT Support Officer Trainee , you will assist to maintain the efficiency of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. This position involves providing first level technical support to staff and ensuring that all technology-related issues are resolved promptly. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include: Handle incoming IT related enquiries and requests from staff Provide tech support and troubleshooting Perform basic repairs and maintenance to IT equipment Liaise with vendors to escalate issues and maintenance Gather reports on ticketing and system issues Work with a mixture of Microsoft, Google, Android, and Apple technologies This role will require travel to Djerriwarrh’s other sites including Sunshine About You: To be successful in this traineeship, you’ll need: Enthusiasm for all things IT related Passion for delivering exceptional customer service High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Displays initiative and a hardworking attitude Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines Eligibility Criteria: Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite Drivers licence (desirable) Previous information technology or customer service experience (desirable) About Maxima: Maxima’s First Nations Employment Team is here to provide culturally safe and relationship-based practices to build your capacity in being deadly and successful.
