Currently, there is a vacancy for a full-time Civil Engineer, who has the experience and skills and can work independently. Duties and Responsibilities: As Civil Engineer You are required to follow duties according to pre-established standards and procedures and in a logical sequence to produce a high quality, efficient service outcome with profitable manner to business. • Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project briefs to determine engineering requirements and design parameters. • Analyse survey, mapping, and materials-testing data to inform design and construction planning. • Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and documentation for foundations, earthworks, and structural components of residential projects. • Plan, design, and coordinate construction activities for structures such as roads, drainage systems, retaining walls, and residential building platforms. • Estimate material quantities, costings, and project timelines; monitor progress to ensure budgetary and time constraints are met. • Supervise the on-site construction process and ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations. • Liaise with architects, other engineers, contractors, and local councils to obtain permits and ensure regulatory compliance. • Conduct inspections and technical evaluations to identify any design or structural issues and recommend corrective actions. • Apply engineering software and modelling tools to simulate and analyse civil systems and construction methods. • Oversee quality assurance and risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle. • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.
