Join a large Australian owned iconic brand based in Penrith Opportunity to work with a dedicated team that makes a difference Be part of Australia's largest cold chain network About the Role Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products (145 million litres of product every year) – receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days a year! We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products. Working across Warehouse and Logistics this DC Operator will see you managing product storage and movement of product within the cool room with the use of manual handling equipment including forklifts – so a Forklift licence is essential to be considered for this position. You will also be responsible for undertaking stocktakes and Chep counts, management of damaged stock and accurate recording of all waste, coupled with the loading and unloading of trailers. This position works the afternoon shifts from 1pm – 9pm, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday). Responsibilities Manage product storage and movements within the cool room with the use of Forklifts Making safety a priority and championing a safety culture with the team Collection of stock from production lines and storing appropriately Liaising with truck drivers and team members Rotation of stock and ensuring the cool room is clean and free from milk spills and waste accumulation About you FMCG manufacturing and/or warehousing logistics experience preferably in a cool room environment Forklift (LF) licence and experience is critical Can-do attitude, ability to work autonomously and a good team player who is a problem solver Reliable, quality of work mindset and has always has safety lens Ideally have some experience with MS Word and Excel for daily reporting Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
