About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Pharmacist to join our Toronto team. As a vital member of our pharmacy, you will play a key role in delivering expert pharmaceutical care, supporting our patient’s health goals and contributing to the success of the business. The job description is as follows but not limited to: ·Accurately dispense prescription medications to customers while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. ·Provide counselling to patients on the correct use of prescribed medicines, including possible side effects, dosage, and storage. ·Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and promote positive health outcomes. ·Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and technicians to provide high-quality customer service. ·Conduct medication assessments to identify and address any medication-related issues or concerns. ·Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. ·Participate in pharmacy programs and services training such as vaccinations, health screenings, and medication management initiatives. ·Assist with inventory management, including ordering stock control, and monitoring expiry dates. ·Maintain a clean and organized dispensary and retail space. ·Comply with all applicable legislation, professional guidelines, and pharmacy policies. · Keep up to date with current pharmaceutical knowledge, new treatments, and emerging health trends. · Collaborate with a supportive team in delivering excellent customer service. About you: ·Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. ·At least a year of previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting is highly desirable. ·Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based pharmaceutical care ·Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and computer literacy ·Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ·A genuine passion for community pharmacy and patient care. ·Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. ·Flexibility to work various shifts.
