With a proud track record across Water Infrastructure, Industrial, Mining, and Specialty Construction sectors, the business continues to expand and is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to play a key role in its Technical and Strategic Advisory division. The Role: As Principal Engineer, you will: Lead and manage electrical design across projects ranging from $100K to $30M Deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions and technical assessments Mentor and support the development of junior engineers Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external suppliers Oversee planning, installation support, testing, and commissioning activities Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence About You: Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (essential) Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland ( RPEQ ) – essential Chartered Professional Engineer ( CPEng ) – highly desirable 8 years of experience in electrical project design and delivery Proficient with ETAP or SKM PTW for power system analysis Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous Excellent understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, and industry regulations Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a client-focused approach Must have full working rights in Australia What’s in it for you?
