We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team, based at Perth Airport. The Project Supporting and advise the Perth Airport in the delivery of its multi-billion-dollar expansion and upgrade program. This program of major projects will increase the size of the terminal facilities, introduce a new parallel runway, and add the airport’s first hotel, along with two multi-story car parks. The expansion will drive significant tourism and economic growth across Western Australia and the broader region. The Role In this critical role, you will lead and support the design, development, and evaluation of complex control systems. You will be instrumental in driving innovative solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and resolving technical challenges across a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Evaluate and apply standard Control Systems engineering practices for small to mid-size projects. Lead design, analysis, and development of control system components and layouts. Prepare conceptual studies, proposals, and engineering documentation. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and cross-discipline teams to ensure project success. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering team members. Support construction and commissioning phases with technical solutions and troubleshooting. About you Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 8–10 years of relevant experience (or 12–14 years without a degree). Solid knowledge of industry codes and control systems standards. Proficiency in engineering software and tools; familiarity Setroute, Navisworks, Aconex, Agile) is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
