About the role In this newly created Senior Legal Counsel role, you will work as part of an established, efficient and collaborative legal team. Supported by fantastic leadership, the legal team uses technology tools to streamline and facilitate its operations, consistently delivering a high level of service to the business. Day to day, you will handle a broad range of matters. The key responsibilities are: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of customer and supplier contracts. Managing responses to tenders and bids. Advising on product development, regulatory and consumer law matters. Providing legal advice to the business on matters such as privacy, IP, disputes and M&A. About you The ideal candidate will be a commercial lawyer with 10 years’ PQE. Strong contract negotiating and drafting skills are required. Some foundational experience in private practice would be an advantage, and prior experience in financial services would be valuable. You will have an interest in process improvement and innovation, and have ability to provide practical, efficient and pragmatic solutions to the business. You will have the ability to work independently and autonomously with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have a high level of commercial acumen and the confidence to manage your workload independently, with support from great leaders.
