Mathematics Teacher — South Yarra, Stonnington Area

Requires : Relevant teaching qualifications and a passion for mathematics education. Salary guide: $90,000 - $130,000 per annum. Location: South-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Your normal day will involve: Planning and delivering engaging lessons across junior and senior levels ( Year 10 General Mathematics Year 7 or 8 Mathematics) Providing differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs, especially in VCE VM Literacy. Assessing student work and providing timely feedback aligned with the Victorian Curriculum. Collaborating with colleagues within the Maths and VM teams on curriculum design, resources, and best practices. Participating in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities. Supporting the wellbeing and academic progress of students through the College’s pastoral care model. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to foster a strong learning environment and contribute to the success of students at various year levels. Your ability to engage students in mathematics, while providing targeted support based on individual learning needs, will be crucial in this fulfilling role. You will need: Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education with a major in Mathematics. Ability to build positive rapport with students and foster a safe and inclusive learning environment. Strong organisational and communication skills. Minimum visa required: Australian Citizen.
