It's all about you Our client is a mid-sized, highly respected law firm known for providing outstanding services. An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join their Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. This role sits within the Litigation Team and involves direct client interaction and hands on file involvement. Some of your responsibilities will include:- liaise with clients and take accurate instructions; take telephone calls and assist where appropriate; manage lawyers diaries; prepare briefs to counsel (hard copy and electronic); conduct searches (company, ASIC, title etc.); prepare bills; dictatyping; manage files; and general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning documents, sorting incoming mail etc. Skills and experience we'd love Our client is ideally seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate who takes pride in their work and is passionate about what they do. In addition you will have:- approximately 5 years experience as a legal secretary (Commercial Litigation, Owners Corporation &/or Construction experience highly regarded); intermediate MS Word/typing skills; great attention to detail; excellent time management skills; a friendly team attitude and a pro-active approach; and exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
