BK PATEL GROUP PTY LTD, the proud operator of Subway in the Sippy Downs area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced quick-service restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership role and understands the demands of the food retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage and control the overall operations of the Subway store, including daily opening and closing procedures. Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain optimal product availability while minimising waste. Set sales targets and service standards; develop promotional strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty. Ensure the store is compliant with Subway’s brand policies, food safety standards, and OH&S regulations. Supervise and train team members; prepare shift rosters and delegate tasks accordingly. Handle customer complaints, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Manage budgets, monitor sales performance, and oversee cash handling, POS operations, and banking procedures. Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, staff performance, and financial transactions. Liaise with suppliers and head office representatives as required. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time experience as a store or shift manager in a fast food or quick service restaurant (Subway experience is highly desirable). A formal qualification in Retail, Business, or Hospitality Management is a bonus. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong understanding of customer service, staff supervision, and food safety compliance. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays.
