We are seeking a Engineering Technologist with excellent customer service skills to join our rapidly growing and friendly team. Your responsibilities will include: ·Assisting the design engineer/engineers in the design and production of equipment/components and deployment of software to new systems ·Assisting with the maintenance and improvement of existing weighing and loading systems installed across Australia ·Build, test, install, troubleshoot and repair developmental and production of track weighing and train loading control systems for mining industry ·Build, test, install, troubleshoot and repair developmental and production load cells/transducers and control panels ·Recommend changes in equipment or processes to simplify manufacture, assembly, installation and maintenance ·Undertake site visits for installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance work ·Work within the quality management system, and contribute to its continual improvement to ensure a high level of quality and quality control in functional areas ·Inspection and testing of transducers and canamps in the testing lab ·Static and in-situ calibration of instrumented rails such as 1dfr, 2dfr weighbridge systems ·Operate electronics related software to carry out fats ·Operate mechanical tools such as machine tools, rail drills, bench lathes, testing devices, and others to fabricate, repair or test items ·Research parts availability and costs; ·Purchase equipment, tools and componentry as required; ·Inspect incoming goods and manage their correct storage for later use; ·Attend to matters of company safety as directed (e.g. attend inductions, safety meetings, conduct safety reviews, jhas, take 5s) ·Work within the Quality Management System, and contribute to its continual improvement to ensure a high level of quality and quality control in functional areas.
