What you will be doing: WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced electrician to work for our client based in Balrandald, NSW on a Solar Farm. This role involves performing routine and reactive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability of solar PV systems. Key Duties Include: Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, including inverters, switchgear, transformers, and cabling. Diagnose and repair faults in solar PV arrays, monitoring systems, and associated equipment. Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with OEM and site-specific schedules. Support system upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning of new equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status. Adhere to site safety protocols, electrical standards, and environmental regulations. Respond to operational issues and alarms, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate with the operations team to optimize energy output and site efficiency. What you will need: Drivers licence and reliable transport Licensed Electrician (NSW) with relevant trade certification. Experience working with high-voltage (HV) systems and solar PV technology is highly regarded, but not essential. Whats in it for you?
