Forklift Operator – Night Shift Only We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Further Processing Plant team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials efficiently and safely, ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team that keeps Australia’s favourite poultry products moving! Please note: This is a Night Shift position only. This role has the potential to develop into a leadership position for the right candidate, with extensive training included. We are seeking someone who has experience with paperwork/office tasks in addition to being an experienced forklift driver. Previous experience with RF scanners, inventory control, and dispatch will be highly regarded. Daily Tasks: Operating a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products within the plant Loading and unloading trucks and storage areas safely and efficiently Assisting with general warehouse duties as required Maintaining accurate records of stock movement Adhering to all workplace safety and hygiene standards Processing and inspecting raw materials safely and systematically, according to quality specifications Performing manual handling tasks (lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, reaching) Cleaning duties and maintaining a clean workspace Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools Working in a cold environment Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks Participating in safety initiatives and following safety protocols Being an active, committed, and reliable team member You Will Bring to This Role: A current and valid forklift licence (LF/LO) Proven experience in forklift operation Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Basic computer or paperwork skills A proactive attitude and team-first mentality Willingness to work in cold conditions and perform manual tasks If you’re looking for a long-term opportunity with training and growth potential—and you're ready for night shift work—we’d love to hear from you.
