This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a career in a law firm and to be a part of a collaborative team. You will be responsible for: general file maintenance including regular filing, opening and closing files; telephone handing for the team including answering all incoming calls; drafting of court documents and compiling of briefs; coordinating all outgoing mail to be signed, compiled and delivered; providing support to other legal assistants; maintaining Partners/lawyers’ contacts in our firm CRM InterAction, including assisting with list management on their behalf for events and communications; and other administration duties as required. About you You will ideally have the following skills and experience: minimum one year legal assistant experience; experience in a workers' compensation practice is desirable; highly organised; strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to prioritise and perform to deadlines; and reliable, punctual, flexible and able to demonstrate initiative.
