What you’ll do: Delivering nationally accredited and non-accredited training across various programs including, Blue Card, Load Restraint, and more. Assess driver’s competency under the Vocational Education Training Framework and Verification of Competency (VOC) Program to the required standard and set timeframes. Induct drivers in operating procedures and familiarisation with specific vehicles and equipment for safe operation within expected timeframes. Assess driver competency as a part of pre-employment assessment checks and send reports of outcomes and actions within expected timeframes. Inducting and onboarding drivers in TGE operational procedures and equipment. Facilitating Classroom based sessions as part of our Enterprise Registered Training Organisation (RTO) TLI. Contributing to the design, coordination, and continuous improvement of training content and materials. Supporting internal initiatives including mentoring under the Women in Transport and Site Instructor programs. Assisting with incident investigations and implementing corrective training actions. Maintaining accurate training records within the Learning Management System (LMS). Ensuring all work aligns with RTO and ASQA standards and requirements. About you You have experience delivering driver training and a passion for helping others grow. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent). Multi Combination and Forklift License (Essential). Dangerous Goods experience, Side Loader experience, Reach Stacker licence. (Desirable). Transport and Logistics qualifications; Driver Instructor accreditation. (Desirable). Previous RTO Driver Training Experience (Desirable). Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Driver Trainer role or significant heavy vehicle driving experience. (Desirable). Strong knowledge of transport legislation, including Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, and safe driving practices. Experience using Learning Management Systems and other business tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Able to travel when needed. Why Join Team Global Express?
