Role: Kindergarten Social Worker Status: Full time with flexible options. From the 1.07.2025 – 20.12.2026 with the possibility of an extension Salary: SCHADS AWARD – Level 4.1 – 4.4. $43 – $46.35 per hour based on experience. Qualification: Bachelor in Social Work or equivalent Location: Based in Sunshine West with service delivery in Western and Eastern suburbs. A fully maintained vehicle for work use will be provided. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a candidate with strong professional knowledge and a deep commitment to working with children and families facing vulnerability. Ideal applicants will have the following: Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent qualification. Demonstrated knowledge of the Best Interests Principles, Children Youth and Families Act (2005), and Child Wellbeing and Safety Act (2005). High-level risk assessment skills and an understanding of protective factors. Experience in: Case management and support for vulnerable children and families, coaching and mentoring staff to build educator capability and Early childhood education and community service settings. Ability to work collaboratively across early years, therapeutic and family support services. Familiarity with the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) framework. Strong interpersonal skills including rapport building and family-sensitive practice. Valid Driver’s License. Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check. Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities (desirable)
