Job Description The Preschool KU Castlecrag Preschool has been established for over 60 years and has long held a reputation for excellence in the education and care of children aged 3-5 years old in the community. This 50-place preschool has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards and operates within the Castlecrag community centre, with free parking onsite as well as multiple bus stops close by on Edinburgh Road. This curriculum is interest based and child focused and views children as being independent, competent, capable and unique learners who have control of their own learning and environment. The service has a long standing “Yana Nura” bush program, so a interest in sustainability and bush programs is also highly desirable. The Role We are looking for an organised administrator to provide a range of duties vital to the efficient operations of our Preschool. The position is 12 hours per week, completed across Monday and Thursday on a permanent basis. In particular, you will be managing enrolments, family account's and the centre’s waiting list using the software XAP , responding to email and phone queries’ and assisting the Director with a range of tasks including filing and record keeping, as well as being the friendly point of contact for families!
