We are currently seeking a full time -Teacher for a Middle Primary Class to commence in Term 3, 2025. Candidates must have an ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. The emphasis of this planning is on Faith-Based Inquiry. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and contemporary pedagogues. Job description: Provide challenging and engaging learning experiences that are responsive to student needs Differentiate within a classroom and programs, to ensure consistent and effective educational opportunities and academic growth for all students Liaise with the Learning Diversity Leader to plan and cater for students with additional needs including the creation of Personalised Learning Plans Lead Parent Support Group Meetings to effectively communicate students’ learning goals and progress Make appropriate adjustments for students’ learning needs and maintain up to date records to collate for NCCD data collection Build home-school partnerships and effectively communicate student progress Be accountable in being curriculum compliant eg: teaching the mandated hours in Literacy, Mathematics, RE Have planning completed prior to the commencement of the teaching week Record evidence of learning including focus group notes, intervention notes/data Lead Parent Learning Conversations at least two times a year, and communicate student learning progress with parents throughout the year as per the school reporting schedule Monitor and assess student performance and use data to inform learning and teaching Clearly document teaching and learning programs and maintain accurate records of student learning and progress Track data to analyse and reflect on the effect of teaching and learning programs Reliably report and provide frequent feedback to students about their learning Maintain deep knowledge of curriculum content and how to teach it using research best practice Embrace the use of digital technologies to enhance learning and continue development of digital technology skills as technology evolves Engage in professional discussions and feedback to improve professional knowledge and practice Attend and engage in weekly staff PL and PLT meetings Additional duties as directed by the principal Skills/Experience required: Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
