The role Due to a change in our team, we are looking for an Electrician to install, test and maintain our electrical equipment on a full-time basis. Duties / Responsibilities Installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts and repairing appliances. Produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimise the probability of accidents and maximise usability of electricity in all facilities. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems Fault finding and breakdown diagnosis Ensuring guidelines, standing instructions, standards and procedures are understood and adhered to. Reviewing firefighting equipment and systems maintenance routines, work instructions and procedures and suggest changes to the content and/or systems if required. Providing technical support as required for problem solving maintenance issues Fault finding and breakdown diagnosis Skills and Experience Installation of Fire alarm and EWIS Systems including ASD experience Ability to provide commissioning assistance, and/or System configuration An understanding of Australian Standards, Fire Alarm –Electrical systems knowledge High standards of HSEQ compliance for self and encourage others to do the same Ability to work autonomously Inner city and surrounding areas fit outs, expansions, and new installations.
