Level 3 - IT Support Engineer — Holroyd, Parramatta Area

Senior Helpdesk Support Analyst (Level 3 support) Contract Length: 6 months with potential to extend/go permanent Location: Sydney CBD & Rosehill | Hybrid (3-4 days onsite, 1-2 days WFH) Start Date: Early July We're working with a leading enterprise organisation to find a reliable and experienced Level 2/3 Senior IT Support Engineer to join their internal IT team. This role fills a critical gap created by a recent internal promotion, and you'll play a key role supporting users, systems, and projects across multiple office locations. What You'll Be Doing: Manage technical escalations from the helpdesk team. Partner closely with a Systems Administrator on small to large-scale IT projects. Provide advanced Level 2/3 support for desktop, mobile, and remote users. Administer and support Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance. Manage Apple devices via Apple Business Manager. Support endpoint protection through CrowdStrike. Configure and maintain GlobalProtect VPN. Maintain and administer Azure AD, including user provisioning. Develop basic workflow automation using Microsoft Power Automate. Handle service requests and incidents via ITSM tools like ServiceNow. Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing. Mentor junior analysts and support continuous process improvement initiatives. What You'll Bring: 5 years' experience in IT support/helpdesk roles. Proficiency in both Windows and macOS environments. Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Intune (for MDM) SCCM (for image deployment) Microsoft Azure stack Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, CrowdStrike, and GlobalProtect VPN. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Office 365 administration. Sound understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Strong skills in Active Directory and Group Policy. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Able to work independently and liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders (8/10 stakeholder engagement level required). Comfortable travelling between the Sydney CBD and Rosehill offices. Preferred (but not required): Certifications such as CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation. Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash). Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud. Drivers license and car is a requirement.
