Sharepoint Administrator - 12 Month Full-Time Contract — Newcastle West, Newcastle Area

We’re looking for a Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Specialist to join a collaborative internal team on a 12-month contract. You’ll be the go-to for SharePoint design, configuration and governance- stepping into a project-ready environment with strong support from cyber, comms, data and quality teams. 12-month full-time contract- help uplift a maturing M365 and SharePoint environment High-impact, well-scoped project with clear architecture and direction Mix of autonomy and collaboration- work across technical and non-technical stakeholders Opportunity to shape internal documentation processes and digital collaboration workflows Hybrid setup – open to candidates who can be on-site in Newcastle 2–3 times per month What’s in it for you? What you’ll be doing: Uplifting and refactoring an existing SharePoint environment in line with modern best practice Collaborating with internal teams including cyber security, comms, data and quality to enhance intranet functionality and document management processes Advising on architecture, implementing system changes, and ensuring governance and scalability Helping design and deliver user-friendly features and supporting documentation Acting as an internal advisor to uplift capability across the broader tech team Experience required: 3 years in a SharePoint-focused role, ideally with M365/SharePoint Online expertise Technical knowledge of .NET, HTML5, JavaScript and web development Experience with SharePoint architecture, governance, and administration Power Platform and content migration experience is a bonus Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams About the company: This Newcastle-based organisation is known for its commitment to long-term employee benefits and impact-driven work.
