About the role You’ll provide the required coverage to meet the technical sustainment and enhancement activities primarily related to the maintenance of applications, in a Windows operating environment and support infrastructure as part of the ITIS Platform Management team as a whole. Role Responsibilities Perform data ingest, normalisation and decoration of event logs using XSLT translations and pipelines to output data in various formats including CEF for use in other SIEM applications including ArcSight ESM. Implement and manage multiple data indexes for large data sets using Elastic to ensure data quality and perform reindexing activities as required. Provide data analyst support for search applications including Kibana, Stroom and data visualisation applications as required. Qualifications and Experience Extensive security application development, sustainment and support experience for SIEM applications including Stroom and Elastic. Extensive experience in the configuration, operation and sustainment of containerised application deployments using Rancher Kubernetes Engine and/or OpenShift Container Platform and MySQL database management. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in Windows Server and Desktop support including AD and GPO configuration, MECM application deployment and Ivanti application whitelisting technologies.
