What we are looking for: We are seeking a qualified engineer looking to contribute to the development of our strategic initiatives and keen to future develop stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning for our community. What your day will look like: You will play a crucial role in the development, implementation and delivery of long-term stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning strategies, policies and forward works programs. Key responsibilities include: Lead the development and implementation of stormwater management strategies. Contribute to the creation of forward works programs and policies. Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Please click here to view a full position description . What you’ll need for success: Degree qualifications (AQF Level 7 or above) in Engineering, Engineering Technology or similar and relevant experience Advanced computer skills Experience in the planning, project scoping, cost estimation and design of stormwater and water quality infrastructure. Queensland Class “C” drivers’ licence What’s nice to have: Registered Professional Engineer, Qld (RPEQ), or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) standing with Engineers Australia. Working knowledge of local, state, and federal legislation applicable to the position. Experience in Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD, 12D), stormwater and water quality modelling and design software (XP software suite, TUFLOW, MUSIC etc.), GIS (ESRI, MapInfo).
