The successful candidate will be coordinating and completing assigned Test and Evaluation tasks.  You will be an integral part of the Engineering team and may be required to work with commercial resources to ensure alignment of Engineering and Technical artefacts with wider programmatic and commercial intent. Locations available are Canberra or Melbourne. Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and report on all aspects of T&E activities across the product lifecycle. Undertake system-level T&E and trial tasks, drafting comprehensive T&E reports. Develop and maintain critical documentation including Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Master Plans (TEMP), and other artefacts. Provide technical and professional advice in the context of Defence T&E frameworks, policy, and governance. Support the achievement of Land-worthiness and system certification. Work under limited direction to complete complex systems engineering tasks. As the ideal candidate you will bring: Demonstrated experience (5 years) in Defence Test & Evaluation, particularly within the One Defence Capability System (ODCS). Strong knowledge across Preview (PT&E), Developmental (DT&E), Acceptance (AT&E), Operational (OT&E), and In-Service T&E. Proven ability to deliver within the CASG T&E Systems Engineering policy environment. Solid understanding of risk management and Verification & Validation (V&V) practices. Hands-on experience in Defence contracting (ASDEFCON) frameworks. Familiarity with the integration of T&E within engineering documentation, including Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP), Safety and Configuration Management Plans. Recognised T&E qualification or accreditation. Deep working knowledge of Defence engineering processes and T&E policy. T&E accreditation (preferred). All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
