Junior/Intermediate Contracts administrator — Doncaster, Manningham Area

The Role: We are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team. The main focus of this role will be to manage the administration, commercial and financial functions of projects and to oversee project cost reporting, letting and financial administration. We Offer: Exciting opportunity to join our now established Major Loss team that specialises in Commercial building projects within various sectors including; Retail, Industrial, Education, Community, Medical The chance to join a growing organisation with an exciting future Stability, job security & opportunities for career progression On the job training & guidance from experienced senior leaders Positive & rewarding team culture where great work is recognised & rewarded Up to date technology & a modern office environment Key Duties & Responsibilities: Engage, coordinate & manage trades Communicate and negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs Dispute/issue resolution as required Work closely with estimators, supervisors & team Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the head contract Assist in organising contracts, processing quotes & updating variations Establish, maintain & control an effective cost control & reporting system Prepare monthly progress claims to the client Ensure the timely & accurate processing of accounts & payroll information Administer projects to ensure a timely & efficient completion of the head contract & subcontracts Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from building surveyor & all relevant documentation are signed off Key Selection Criteria: Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team. 2-3 years experience in projects $1m-$10m Relevant Building & Construction qualification Excellent communication skills, including a professional phone manner Ability to develop strong relationships Excellent time management & organisational skills Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment Highly computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Please note: A criminal background check will make up part of the recruitment process.
