Resourceful Recruitment is currently working with a national engineering and advisory consultancy that specialises in delivering innovative and sustainable urban development and infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a growing presence in Queensland, they are looking to appoint a Principal Project Engineer to join their high-performing Brisbane team. The successful candidate will have experience in complex projects from early planning stages through to construction. You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team with expertise across land development, stormwater and flood management, town planning and engineering design. What you’ll be doing: Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects across urban development Managing engineering design inputs for DA and BA submissions, with a focus on stormwater, earthworks, roads and utilities Liaising with clients, local authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution Providing mentorship to junior engineers and supporting team development Producing high-quality technical reports, flood assessments, stormwater management plans and tender documentation Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience, ideally with exposure to land development and urban infrastructure RPEQ accreditation (or eligibility to obtain) Strong working knowledge of DA/BA approval processes, Queensland planning frameworks and council engagement Proven technical expertise in flood modelling, stormwater design, and water infrastructure Strong project leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills If the above sounds like you click ‘Apply’ to submit your application.
