Finance / Payroll Administrator – $40/hr | Canning Vale-Based | Contract Until 31 August 2025 Location: 25 Baile Road, Canning Vale WA 6155 Contract: ASAP – 31 August 2025 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, core hours generally 8:00am–3:00pm/4:00pm (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days WFH) Hourly Rate: Up to $40/hour Parking: Free onsite parking Please note: This is a hybrid role based in Canning Vale. Local candidates with the ability to work in-office 3 days a week will be prioritised. About the Role Our client is looking for a Finance / Payroll Administrator to join our client’s project team and provide vital support across financial transactions and payroll processing for approximately 430 wage employees. This is a contract covering leave, and the role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to resolving payroll and timesheet issues. Working alongside the Finance Manager and Management Accountant, you’ll ensure data accuracy, support compliance with enterprise agreements, and maintain open communication with teams across WA. Key Responsibilities Manage the shared payroll inbox, actioning and resolving timesheet queries professionally Process and verify payroll data, including manual timesheet entries and adjustments Conduct final checks and reconciliations before submitting to Shared Services Follow up on outstanding timesheets and approvals Review rosters against submitted hours to ensure accurate processing Escalate payroll discrepancies and compliance issues where necessary Ideal Candidate A collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail Experienced in high-volume data entry and payroll administration Able to navigate awards/enterprise agreements and respond to queries accordingly Self-motivated, professional, and capable of working across multiple departments Reliable and committed to ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery Required Skills & Experience Mandatory: Proven experience in payroll processing and financial administration Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables) Experience using accounting or payroll systems Highly Desirable: SAP experience Familiarity with Enterprise Agreements or Award interpretation Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Team Culture & Environment You’ll join a professional and supportive team that values collaboration, clear communication, and precision.
