ABOUT THE ROLE Liverpool City Council is currently delivering four transformative city-shaping projects over the next two years, worth more than $150 million. The projects will be delivered by the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants (WSIG) Program Project Delivery Team, which comprises staff dedicated to driving excellence and creating the leading project delivery team in NSW local government. The four projects are: Lighthorse Park Carnes Hill Aquatic Centre Brickmakers Creek; and Streetscape Projects (Railway, Scott, and Macquarie) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Administrator will provide high-level administrative and project support to the Infrastructure Delivery team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of infrastructure projects across the council. This role will involve coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful implementation of infrastructure initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for project coordination. ABOUT YOU Preferred applicants would come from a range of backgrounds including project management or related/complementary disciplines (for example, planning, architecture, environmental, landscape architecture, trainee project managers, construction managers, site supervisors) that have not delivered projects of such a large scale independently. Employees would build on their previous skills, knowledge, and experience through working closely with highly experienced Senior Project Managers. They would be exposed to all aspects of project management ranging from scheduling, budgeting, procurement to project controls through to design and construction.
