Growing Civil Contractor with works around QLD Permanent & long-term opportunity - local & travel required Smaller projects – Roads, Urban & Civil project In anticipation of civil infrastructure across Queensland, our client is seeking a Civil Project Engineer with project experience on Main Roads – TMR, bulk earthworks, drainage, minor structures and land development projects. This Civil Project Engineer will have main roads experience, delivering $10M sized projects as part of the head contracting team. As Project Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery with a particular focus on procurement and daily site programming of civil works. In this role, you will require exceptional planning and organisational skills, cost awareness and forecasting ability, preferably working on Qld Department of Main Roads and subdivisions contracts. Your role will be supporting the Project Manager in the day-to-day running of the site including the following responsibilities: Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers Programming and daily planning Quality Assurance management Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders Preparing financial reports and completing forecasts Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met The successful individual must have at least 4 years’ local civil infrastructure experience, a proven track record of delivering roads, stormwater drainage, urban projects with a civil contractor in similar conditions. Experience working on small to medium projects is desirable. This is a local opportunity in Brisbane, and dependent on future work, may require travel.
