Sales Consultant – Onsite at Smithfield | Hyrbid role | Appointment-Based Showroom & Phone Sales The Recruitment People are a business providing recruitment and HR Solutions to businesses nationally. We are currently recruiting for an Australian-owned, highly reputable company specialising in providing high-quality comfort and support products to the public. Due to business growth, they are now seeking a Sales Consultant to join their team in a brand-new, standalone role based onsite at their Smithfield showroom. What’s on Offer: Onsite role – based in the Smithfield office Generous commission paid on all sales good base New position due to growth – autonomy and self-direction required Appointment-based showroom – warm leads, outbound sales calls Monday to Friday only – no weekends Supportive national business with excellent training The Role: You’ll work autonomously in the local office, alongside the small team in the warehouse, managing both inbound showroom appointments and outbound sales calls to warm leads. You’ll be responsible for engaging customers, understanding their needs, demonstrating products in the showroom, and confidently closing sales. Key Responsibilities: Conduct showroom appointments and product demonstrations (appointment-only) Make outbound sales calls to warm leads and nurture existing interest Confidently explain product benefits and close sales over the phone and in person Take payments or assist with finance applications Accurately maintain CRM records Follow up leads to maximise conversion and generate repeat business Maintain a tidy and professional showroom environment About You: You are a motivated and experienced sales professional who enjoys working independently. You’re confident in both phone-based and face-to-face selling and take pride in providing excellent customer experiences. Proven success in B2C sales (phone and/or showroom-based) Confident closer with excellent communication and rapport-building skills Self-motivated and able to manage your own day without supervision Comfortable demonstrating products and guiding customer decisions Strong computer and CRM skills (Zoho experience is a plus) Experience in furniture, bedding, mobility or similar industries is an advantage If you enjoy working autonomously and are passionate about helping customers make informed decisions, apply today and take the next step in your sales career.
