The Company Our client is in the agriculture and supply chain industry. The Role As the Customer Service Team Lead, you will be managing a team of seven Customer Support Officers. You will be providing leadership and direction to the team, and assisting them to provide excellent customer service. This role is a 12 month FTC, based in the CBD. The role is full-time, working 8 hours a day across 7.30am to 5.30pm. Your duties will include: Leading and managing the Customer Support Team, including mentoring, training and developing the team to ensure they are set up for success. Assisting the team through any customer complaints and resolving any issues in accordance with the company's procedures. Develop and implement customer strategies and provide training to the team, helping them to develop and upskill. Completing Performance Management Plans and reviewing the performance of the team. Supporting the team through customer service systems changes. Maintaining product knowledge and processing customer sales and orders. Communicating effectively with internal departments and working cross-functionally. As the Team Lead, you will act in accordance with the company's values and ethics, and be an admirable manager to the team. You will demonstrate commitment to customer support, and prioritise the relationships between the company and their customers, as well as internal employees. Your Profile To be a successful candidate you must have: At least 5 years' experience working in customer service. Experience managing a team. You will have a positive, 'can-do' attitude. You will use your initiative in all aspects of your work. You will ideally have: Experience using SAP. Background in FMCG, Logistics or Agribusiness.
