onstruction Planning Provides construction expertise in the development of day-to-day construction activities. Monitor contractor progress, manning and equipment levels relative to the plan. Construction Execution Provides advice and monitors the contractor construction planning & execution activities in the field, to ensure that the construction process is optimised to enable safe, efficient and effective construction. Construction Planning Provides Construction expertise in the development of day to day construction planning. Monitors contractor progress and manning / equipment levels as per agreed plan Construction Execution Monitor that the contractor executes its construction methodologies, strategies and plans in accordance with project construction systems and standards. Oversee the contractor Supervisor that provides on-site supervision and who monitors the performance of construction implementation contractor performance in an identified sub -area of construction. Ensure contractors understand HSE requirements and processes, and provide governance that project minimum HSE standards are being met. Follow all reporting, escalation and investigation requirements for HSE events Ensure contractors are performing quality field safety interactions. Responsible for workplace HSE and Quality inspections, progress monitoring Prepare and submit daily reports in digital format. Authorises all contractor Permits to Work (high risk work) Appointed as Supervisor for Construction Work (as/if required) Functional Excellence Ensure that the contractor executes risk and quality management plans to assure effective management of the project’s construction scope of work. Perform Critical control verifications and observations for material risks Provides construction expertise as input to value improvement practices. Leadership Behaviors Is collaborative and works with the contractor as opposed to on top of them, helping to enable them to deliver the project achieve best for project outcomes Is supportive and value-focused, "clearing the path" for the contractor and prioritizing focus by the contractor on productivity to deliver project value. Leads by example, runs towards issues and demonstrates the behaviors captured in the Project Principles Responsible for field leadership, workplace inspections, progress monitoring, frontline management in case of event management (manage the scene, ensure they follow the correct procedures) Models and demonstrates safety leadership behaviors, and actively fosters the desired safety culture for the project through collaboration with contracting partners
