Supports to mainly consist of community engagement and home activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with him and his family, making a significant positive impact on their lives. You will provide person-centred care, focusing on his individual interests and choices. About You To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek like-minded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold. In addition to our values, our support staff require Mandatory Experience and Compliance: 2 years' experience as a Support Worker. Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability, Aged Care, and/or Nursing. Experience in Mental Health and Behaviour of Concerns. Experience working with non-verbal participants. NDIS Worker Screening Check. National Police Check Working with Children's Check Current First Aid & CPR Certificate. Anaphylaxis Training. Medication Training Certificate (or willing to obtain). Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain). Full Victorian Drivers Licence and Comprehensively Insured Vehicle. Flexible availability, can-do attitude, calm nature. Due to the participant's complex background, Female support workers are required for this position.
